For those who aren't able to volunteer in-person at the library, we've got virtual volunteer opportunities! These can be done anytime until further notice. You don't need to apply to take advantage of these opportunities, just read the description and submit your work as directed. If you have an idea for something a little different, send me an email and we can talk!
Help out our Children's Department by sharing fun activities and crafts for kids to do! Film yourself making a simple craft that parents could do at home with their kids, or create instructions for a game or activity for kids to play. We'll share some of these through the library's social media and YouTube channel. Videos should be no more than five minutes long. Send your files to
splvolunteers@cwmars.org along with how long you spent making the video/writing up the instructions so you can get volunteer credit. Activities and crafts should be geared towards children under 10 years old.
Requirements: must be in grades 5-12
If you've got opinions about books, music, movies, podcasts, or other media, we want to hear about it! Send a one-paragraph review to
splvolunteers@cwmars.org and we'll share it on our
Instagram. If you want to include a photo for us to post with your review that would be excellent! Earn 30 minutes of volunteer credit for each review you submit.
Requirements: must be in grades 5-12
