The Worcester Institute for Senior Education (WISE) at Assumption University is a member-directed organization created in 1993 to provide lifelong learning opportunities for older adults ("Senior status is self-defined: we don't check IDs").

Take courses like Intelligent Life in the Universe, The Stories of the Blues, Painting Techniques Through the Ages, The Vietnam War - A History in Documents, Wills, Trusts and Asset Protection Planning, Memoir Writing, and more!

Classes are held via ZOOM. Not familiar with ZOOM? Go to their ZOOM Coffee Break every Monday at 9:00 AM for extra assistance. Are you going to miss one of your scheduled classes? All class recordings are available on their website for 30 days.

View the course catalogue here.

WISE membership allows you to attend as many courses as you want, join clubs, discussion groups and enjoy special events. See the WISE Member Benefits page for more information about WISE membership.
